About Me
A little about who will be taking your Driving Lessons
Hi, I'm Chris Wright, I'm 31 years old.
I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2001 with a BA (Hons) in Physical Education, the course is run very closely to the teaching degree, meaning I have been able to develop many different teaching styles and therefore will be able to tailor your tuition to you personally. Since graduating I have had a number of occupations in a supervisory role.
After having a trainee licence for a year (pink triangular badge), I fully qualified in June 2007, meaning I display the green octagonal badge and not the pink triangle as trainee instructors do. I have been instructing full time since then and I have an outstanding pass rate (see "Test Passes"). In 2007 I re-branded the driving school as Wright Way To Learn (formally Wright Way Driver Training). I am on the DSA register of Approved Driving Instructors (ADI) and therefore I have had a full CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check done and passed. I am registered to take you on the Pass Plus course (see "Pass Plus").
I am really into my sports, especially rugby and play for a local side, which is why I try and keep my Saturday afternoon's free. (see "Hours of Work" for more details)
I am a very patient and calm person and won't ever shout at you while teaching (this does actually happen!). I will always try to make lessons and therefore the learning experience a fun one because I believe you take a lot more in that way.
My aim is to teach you safe driving for life and not just to pass your driving test, which is why I have such a good pass rate (see "Test Passes").
